It's not even a thing here in the US, unless you order from Papa John's, a particular national chain. They're best known for saying they have good pizza, but not actually having good pizza.

I would just like to share my monstrous brain fart I had lol. Doing the WhatThe I kept spelling it “pepperoknee” and COULD NOT figure out why it wasn’t fitting 😂 this was before I’d had my ☕️ to be fair 🧠💨
Here's some secondary questions for everyone: Do you eat the pizza crust or skip it? Do you go for the piece with the bubble? And last but not least (for my Canadians) what's your favorite pizza crust dip?

Haha I love these extra questions, thank you for asking! I do enjoy eating the crust usually. Some crusts are a no go (gotta be careful with brick fired pizzas that have char cuz I choked on that stuff once) but usually i see crusts as almost free breadsticks.
I think the crusts can help balance out the acid from the marinara, which I'm kind of sensitive to. And yes to the bubbles, but not always. Some pizza places are better than others re how the bubbles turn out. I prefer they arent too crispy. As to ur last Q, I don't dip the crusts in anything.
I mean, I think the only right answer for that last one is the Pizza Pizza Creamy Garlic Dip😊
And yes for crust and the bubble depends on if all the cheese slid off it or not

@CosmicSapphire the "bubble"/bubbles are when there's trapped yeast-produced carbon dioxide in the dough, and when it heats it ends up making a giant pocket in the crust. Most people try to avoid it when making pizza but I love those pieces :)

I am prepared for the judgement for this 😂 I cut off the pizza crust and eat it first, with Caesar dressing as a lil dip hahaha. For me it’s a “saving the best for last” kinda thing since I don’t really care for the crust LOL

@icebear604 I EAT THE CRUST TOO BC I DONT LIKE IT THAT MUCH!!!! i also use a fork and knife when eating pizza whenever possible! i always dip the bread given to me when i get caesar salads in the dressing so i totally get it/would do if given the chance!

I recall maybe one specific pizza place giving you a green jalapeño pepper with their pizza, but I don’t remember what place does it.
so now i get that it's a peperoncino … fun fact my mom loves greek salads but always very very dramatically (in her heavy ukrainian accent) is like and "please NO olives & NO peperoncino" even to just tell me if im placing an order of carry out, as if id ever forget!

I do indeed eat the pepper when I order pizza from Papa Johns. Also, I think there was a glitch today. For some odd reason I got two different Lite Brite games that both gave me one of the collection snails and now I seem to be ahead of everyone else by one aside from one other player.
Pepperoncini peppers (like Papa John's does), heck no. I don't like them. Red pepper flakes, yes and load it up! Banana peppers, yes and so yummy!

Heck no. While, I have a certain appreciation for the smell even though it's a spicy smell it reminds me of going out for pizza and eating pizza with my dad since loves that stuff. But, I avoid it cuz any spice will set my mouth on fire which is not good on top of the acid in te pizza sauce
