“What's a nostalgic food you grew up eating?”

My grandmother always had a pot of pinto beans with ham cooking when we visited.

Crabs

Most foods are for certain holidays, like for new years we do fondue, Valentine’s Day is meatloaf, st Patrick’s day is green breakfast (everything from the butter to the maple syrup is green) Easter is brunch, usually with coffee cake, thanksgiving, besides the obvious, we have turkey noodle soup…

…(completely homemade, including the noodles), and turkey tetrazzini, and then on Christmas morning we have homemade sticky buns

Oh and we have homemade ravioli for Christmas

These include extended family btw

And new years is chocolate fondue
